Breaking a bad habit, When you want to see change in yourself, you adopt various ways to bring a change in yourself. Your efforts in order to change bad into good is called the act of breaking a bad , and this process is known as breaking a bad habit.

Simply defined from the word what Breaking a bad habit is. It simply defines leaving one awful trait of yours. It also can be more than one. People do so many things to make it happen.some of us made new year resolutions and made a decision to unlearn their one or sometimes more than one awful trait. And some just make it a part of their monthly/ weekly / daily schedule.

If you have a nasty habit of using smart phones or electronic devices for countless hours, one thing you can do is you can replace it with another work or you can decide your hours earlier for using it. 

If you are having a lousy habit of overthinking, in order to change this habit you can organise your daily task or you can change your thoughts whenever heavy thoughts start to take place in your mind.

If you have anger issues and anxiety, you can start a habit mindfulness practice. Mindfulness meditation will keep your thoughts clear, will give you peace of mind and will calm your anxiety. 


Breaking a bad habit psychology-

When you repeat any action sooner or later it forms a habit. When we do the same thing again and again we develop a craving for that particular interest, that craving makes our habit firm. 

Our brain is an avid learner. It learns every individual thing that we do regularly. After some days it becomes a professionalist. 
When we convince ourselves that this particular thing is best for us Like we know that hygiene is good for us, an unhealthy lifestyle is terrible for us. We are convinced by our thoughts and we do our acts accordingly. 

That's how psychology works for breaking a habit or learning a habit. 
It's a well known fact that our thoughts create us, our habits make us good or bad. When we learn any new thing just by convening ourselves. Then why shouldn't we adopt a good habit and why shouldn't we leave the bad one?

One thing that you can do is organise a will to change. When it comes to adopting bad habits it's a quick and easy task for anyone but whenever it comes to good habits it's not as easy as it's written in the context, after all it's not an overnight process. 

List your all bad habits on the paper, and try to change each of them one by one. 
One thing you have to remember here is don't go for 100 % results. If you are making only fifty percent it's a good sign of growing. Just follow the process. Don't waste your previous time dwelling on the results. 

People say 'Good things take time'. Same as good habits, they also take time and demand patience. You have to make continuity everything will fall in the accurate situation.
Make one good habit. Good habits also help in building self esteem. 





Strategy to break a bad habit -

It's a well known truth that nobody is perfect. We continue to make changes in ourselves in order to become a decent personality. 
Upgrading ourselves is substantial. 

Find reasons to quit your awful habits. We do things with full attention when we have better reasons behind it. We study because we want to Achieve good grades, we practice our hobby to make it perfect because one day might be a hobby that gives us a stable living,we give our best in our work place to get promoted from small post to big post. 

Everyone wants upgradation but when you have a strong reason behind our changeable act, we usually do it with full attention. 
So please find a strong reason to quit your worthless habits so that you can get desirable outcomes. 



Why is it important? 

If you ask me why it's important then I will ask a reverse question, 'Why is it not?'
It's very simple. If you don't change your nasty habits,it will take full control on you. 
When these habits have full control on you, you will lose control over yourself. 

you are intelligent enough to understand the fact that things inside of you become difficult when external things have full control on you. 
In the rough and tumble phase of life we make a realization that we have to change this thing or that thing. 

Bad habits may be like - getting angry easily, getting up late, excessive use of social media or mobile phone could be anything. 
Every different problem needs different solutions. 

Bad habits make life difficult and become a big obstacle in the way of success. 
When you want to achieve your goals you have to change your unworthy habits first because they are a big reason behind your lesser productivity.

When we decide to make a change we usually face problems when we are undergoing the process of change.
